Cavitation in Engine Cooling Fluid due to Piston-Cylinder Assembly Forces
Cavitation in Engine Cooling Fluid due to Piston-Cylinder Assembly Forces
Abstract:
The problem of possible pitting and cavitation in internal combustion engines is
receiving Considerable attention. Both theoretical and simulation simulation studies
are carried out in order to understand the noise and vibration sources, using a force
equation. Both theoretical simulation and simulation studies are carried out in order to
understand the noise and vibration sources, using a force equation. For this work, the
main aim is to actually study these vibrations and try to model it. For this work, the

laid to study cavitation and find possible ways of increasing the life of the engine
components. A foundation is also Laid to study cavitation and find possible ways of

the system is carried out using Modeling software, with the help of Finite Element
Analysis and Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis. A model to calculate pressure
variation in the system is carried out using Modeling software, with the help of Finite
Element Analysis and Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis. Some important results
have been shown with negative pressures leading to the fact that the developed models
predict the presence of cavitation in the cylinder liner surface, stressing the importance
of improving the piston and cylinder liner design. Some important results have been
